I was in the studio again over the weekend (after fighting migraines for 2 out of the last 3 weekends) and it felt great to get my creative juices flowing again. That being said, I struggled with this mixed media painting. Once I got started it just wasn't going the way I wanted it to go and I almost threw it away three different times. But I hate giving up sometimes, so I persevered and finally ended up with something that I liked. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. LOL. And hey, it was 7 hours of almost uninterrupted studio time, so I can't complain about that at all!
Lots of acrylics used in this, plus some stencils and ink, some Neocolor II crayons, and a paint pen or two. I love the colors and the texture that I created with tissue paper, a favorite technique. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Maybe this is a keeper after all. :)
